How the network works

The Digiovations associate network is a group of experienced independent contractors we bring in for short-term client engagements across Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft 365 and AI. You keep your independence. We bring you briefs that fit your skills and availability.

  1. Join

Send your CV and tell us your disciplines, skills and availability. We'll email to confirm we have it.

  2. We review

We read every submission. If your experience fits the work we do, we'll arrange a short call.

  3. We match

When an engagement fits, we send you the brief first. Your CV goes to a client, or into a bid, only with your agreement.

  4. You deliver

We contract with your limited company for that engagement, at a day rate agreed before you start. IR35 status is assessed for each engagement.

Joining the network is not a promise of work. We get in touch when an engagement fits your skills and availability.

  • Delivery in production. You have shipped work that real users rely on, and you can talk about what went wrong as well as what went right.
  • Client-facing. You are comfortable running a workshop, writing for a non-technical sponsor, and owning your part of an engagement.
  • AI-assisted delivery. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Copilot Studio are normal working tools here. You use them with judgement and review what they produce.
  • Standards. Accessible to WCAG 2.2 AA, secure by default, and documented so the client can run it after we leave.
  • Regulated environments help. That means public sector, NHS and policing experience. Current security clearance (BPSS, SC, NPPV) opens some engagements.
  • Experience. Typically five or more years in your main discipline.
  • Certifications help but are not required. Microsoft retired or replaced many certifications in 2026, so tell us what you hold, current or retired.
  • A limited company. You contract through your own limited company, or you will set one up before an engagement starts.

Questions associates ask

Do I need my own limited company?

Yes. We engage associates through their own limited company. You can join the network before you have one, but it needs to be in place before an engagement starts.

How is IR35 handled?

We assess status for each engagement. Where the end client is in the public sector, the client makes the determination. We do not promise that any engagement will be outside IR35.

Will you share my CV with clients?

Only with your agreement, each time. That includes naming you in a bid or framework response.

What day rates do you pay?

Rates are agreed for each engagement and depend on the role, the client and the commercial route. We ask for your expected rate so we only bring you briefs that suit you. It is never published.

How long do you keep my details?

12 months from your last submission, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Send us an updated CV at any time to stay current. Our privacy policy has the detail.

Can I join the network and apply for an employed role?

Yes. They are separate. Apply for any open role through its own page.

Do I need Microsoft certifications?

No. They help, and the form asks which you hold, but production experience counts for more.
